Job Summary: Ensure the safety, health, and physical integrity of personnel on construction sites by implementing and supervising safety and hygiene regulations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Supervise compliance with safety and hygiene regulations on construction sites 2. Identify, assess, and control occupational hazards 3. Coordinate emergency response teams and ensure safety signage **Civil Construction Safety Officer** (Hunucmá Town, Yucatán) **Job Objective** Ensure the safety, health, and physical integrity of personnel on construction sites through implementation, supervision, and enforcement of safety and hygiene regulations, preventing occupational hazards and ensuring compliance with current regulatory requirements. **Main Responsibilities** * Supervise compliance with safety and hygiene regulations on construction sites. * Identify, assess, and control occupational hazards across various construction activities. * Prepare and follow up on risk analyses (AST / ATS / JSA). * Verify correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE). * Conduct safety talks (5-minute toolbox talks) for personnel. * Investigate accidents and incidents, preparing reports and corrective actions. * Coordinate emergency response teams (first aid, evacuation, fire suppression). * Ensure compliance with safety signage on construction sites. * Maintain documentation and records related to safety matters. * Supervise safe conditions for critical tasks (working at heights, excavations, electricity, machinery, etc.). * Coordinate internal audits and respond to inspections by authorities. **Requirements** * Technical or Engineering degree (Industrial, Environmental, Civil, or related field). * 1–3 years of experience in civil construction or building site safety. **Knowledge:** * Mexican Official Standards (NOM-STPS), primarily: * NOM-031-STPS (Construction) * NOM-017-STPS (PPE) * NOM-009-STPS (Work at Heights) * NOM-002-STPS (Fire Prevention and Protection) * Risk identification (IPER, AST, JSA). * Handling of site reports and logs. **We Offer:** * Competitive salary based on experience. * Statutory benefits \* Willingness to travel.
