**Accounts Payable Specialist** The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing the full accounts payable cycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations. This role works closely with internal teams to match invoices to receipts and GL accounts, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate financial records. The position supports month\-end close activities, investigates vendor inquiries, and handles high volumes of transactions in a fast\-paced environment. Strong attention to detail, knowledge of basic accounting principles, and proficiency with AP systems and Microsoft Office are essential. Experience in manufacturing or aerospace environments is a plus. **Responsibilities:** * Manage the full accounts payable cycle, ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices and payments. * Match invoices with receiving documents and code transactions to the appropriate GL accounts, including non\-PO invoices. * Process weekly payment runs, check requests, and credit card transactions. * Perform reconciliations of accounts payable and credit card statements. * Investigate and resolve unpaid invoices, discrepancies, and vendor inquiries. * Support month\-end close activities by ensuring all AP and credit card expenses are properly recorded. * Maintain organized records of paid invoices and supporting documentation. * Research, track, and resolve accounting and payment\-related issues. * Collaborate with internal teams while maintaining the ability to work independently in a fast\-paced environment. **Qualifications:** * 1\+ years of experience in Accounts Payable, Finance, or related roles. * Experience working with accounts payable systems and automated document workflow tools. * Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and general ledger accounts. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook. * Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time\-management skills. * Ability to prioritize and manage a high volume of transactions with accuracy. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Experience in manufacturing or aerospace environments is a plus. * Familiarity with Quantum Control or similar ERP systems is preferred.
