Customer service and internal collaboration in a professional environment **Job Description:** We are currently seeking an aesthetics specialist with experience in grooming and safe pet handling to join our team. **Main Responsibilities:** Aesthetics and Hygiene Services * Perform aesthetic, sanitary, and therapeutic baths, as well as haircuts, ear cleaning, nail trimming, brushing, and de-shedding, according to the patient’s needs or veterinary instructions. * Execute breed-specific and hygienic haircuts, considering coat type, dermatological condition, and the patient’s overall health. * Promote hygiene and aesthetics products in accordance with clinic policies, prioritizing animal welfare. Safe Handling and Animal Welfare * Apply safe, respectful, and cruelty-free handling techniques throughout the entire aesthetics process. * Observe and identify visible signs of dermatological issues, parasites, or other clinical conditions, and immediately report them to the responsible veterinarian. * Ensure the patient’s general care and well-being during their stay in the aesthetics area, considering their physical and emotional state. Cleaning, Biosecurity, and Maintenance * Maintain work areas, tubs, tools, and equipment clean and disinfected, following safety protocols. * Properly manage waste and correctly use cleaning products and personal protective equipment. * Immediately report shortages of supplies, equipment malfunctions, or hazards in the work area. Customer Service and Internal Collaboration * Provide courteous and professional service to pet owners, addressing basic questions regarding post-service care. * Maintain up-to-date records of services performed **Experience:** * 1 year of experience in canine/feline aesthetics and professional grooming * Knowledge of breed-specific haircutting techniques, deep bathing, comprehensive hygiene, and handling of dogs and cats. **Required Knowledge and Skills:** * Empathy and respect for animals, ensuring their well-being at all times. * Ability to safely and calmly handle nervous or aggressive animals. * Clear and friendly communication with pet owners, providing guidance before, during, and after procedures. * High level of organization and attention to detail in cleaning and aesthetics tasks. * Teamwork with medical staff, assistants, and front desk personnel. * Punctuality, responsibility, and adherence to biosecurity protocols. * Ability to work under pressure during high-demand shifts. * Proactive attitude and openness to feedback and continuous training.
