Store environment and customer interaction We are seeking a Loss Prevention Assistant for a major store at Suburbia Mérida. El Puerto de Liverpool is the leading department store chain in Mexico. What will you do? - Conduct surveillance, security inspections, theft prevention, and identification of unsafe conditions and acts. - Verify that cashiers know the location and operation of panic buttons. - Validate emergency plant and fire pump functionality tests (accompanied by maintenance staff). - Verify physical conditions and operational status of emergency exits. - Supervise compliance with instructions for daytime, nighttime, armed, and patrol guards. - Monthly review and completion of fire extinguisher and hydrant forms. - Inspection of vulnerable areas and electrical installations (perimeter zones, high-value areas, etc.). - Patrol log review, including incident reports for entry and exit of nighttime guards. What we seek in you: - Completed high school education; technical degree preferred. - 1 year of experience. - Personal responsibility. - Effective communication. - Self-direction. - Verify that partial cash withdrawals are deposited into the rotary cash drawer. - Verify that cashiers know the location and operation of panic buttons. - Validate emergency plant and fire pump functionality tests (accompanied by maintenance staff). - Validate shipping guides and delivery to carriers. - Verify physical conditions and operational status of emergency exits. - Supervise compliance with instructions for daytime, nighttime, armed, and patrol guards. - Supervise thorough fixed cash counts and used till floats for operations. - Monthly review and completion of fire extinguisher and hydrant forms. - Inspection of vulnerable areas and electrical installations (perimeter zones, high-value areas, etc.). - Patrol log review, including incident reports for entry and exit of nighttime guards. - Click & Collect review (SG’S report, cancellations, returns, rejections, and active orders vs. physical inventory). - Review and communicate findings to the Savannah PP Zone Manager regarding cashier deviations. - Report security incidents (robbery, intrusion, accidents, violent theft, or any incident threatening business operations). - Conduct interior and exterior patrols at store opening and closing. - Cyclical inventories / follow up on significant discrepancies in quantity and weight within Zero-Tolerance (High-Value) sections. - Identify security equipment failures. - Prior experience in operational or administrative control activities is desirable. - Availability for flexible scheduling and shift work.
