




**Merchandising Manager** Location: Baca, Yucatan Textile company serving international clients (Nike, Patagonia, Lacoste, Fanatics, among others) **Job Objective** Lead the merchandising department to ensure end-to-end product development—from client request through final production approval—guaranteeing timelines, costs, quality, and adherence to international standards. **Key Responsibilities** * Manage and oversee product development in collaboration with international clients. * Coordinate internal teams (Design, Production, Quality, Planning, Procurement, etc.) to ensure timely delivery and compliance with standards. * Validate and approve product costing (blanks and full package). * Ensure compliance with technical requirements (Tech Pack, BOM, specifications, garment construction). * Lead direct communication with clients for follow-up, clarifications, and negotiations. * Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the department and propose continuous improvements using Lean methodologies. * Guarantee compliance with quality standards (ISO 9001\), environmental standards (ISO 14001\), and customer-specific requirements. * Implement strategies to optimize processes and reduce costs. **Required Profile** * Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Trade, Marketing, or related field. * Minimum of **3 to 5 years of merchandising experience in the textile industry** (mandatory). * Prior experience leading teams (preferred). * Advanced English proficiency (mandatory—for communication with international clients). * Proficiency in client systems and product management platforms. **Technical Knowledge** * Textile processes: weaving, dyeing/finishing, sewing, and screen printing. * Preparation and interpretation of **Tech Pack**. * Garment costing (blanks and full package). * Use of KPIs and continuous improvement (Lean Manufacturing). * Management of digital programs and tools. **Key Competencies** * Leadership and decision-making * Results-oriented mindset * Effective communication * Time management and organizational skills * Problem-solving ability * Adaptability and teamwork Availability Willingness to work on-site Employment Type: Indefinite-term position Salary: Starting at $30,000\.00 per month Benefits: * Savings fund * Life insurance * Cafeteria service Workplace: On-site employment
