**Purpose of the position:** Coordinate, direct, and supervise the company’s accounting activities related to cost of sales, ensuring accurate recording of transactions, compliance with current tax regulations, and generation of reliable and timely information for decision-making. Likewise, ensure accurate recording, analysis, and control of cost of sales through inventory tracking, purchases, consumption, and shrinkage, in order to optimize business profitability and guarantee reliable financial information. **Job responsibilities:** * Daily/weekly review of inventory movements. * Data entry and validation in the system. * Monitoring of shrinkage and inventory adjustments. * Preparation of cost-of-sales and gross profit reports. * Coordination with procurement, warehouse, and accounting departments. * Supervision of daily accounting transaction recording. * Safeguarding of tax documentation and working papers. * Supervision of proper use of accounting systems. * Addressing internal inquiries related to accounting matters.
