Combining a deep systems knowledge to develop unique vehicle access experiences, intelligent vision systems and advanced automotive lighting technologies, MML's expertise light the path to innovation, safety and styling.**Job Responsibilities:** **Position Objective** Coordinate the launch of new programs within the Division to ensure effective execution, meeting the time, quality, and cost requirements defined by customers and Magna Mirrors North America. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide technical leadership to coordinate the efforts of a multidisciplinary team, including personnel from commercial, product engineering, quality, purchasing, and manufacturing functions, and ensure efficient use of human resources. * Negotiate and facilitate resolution of conflicts among stakeholders (Division, customers, suppliers, corporate office). * Ensure achievement of program objectives and deliverables, and establish a method for periodic monitoring of program progress (milestone reviews, launch readiness reviews). * Maintain effective communication with customers to ensure their requirements are fully understood by the multidisciplinary team involved in program launch. * Manage the budget allocated for program launches and ensure adherence to cost objectives defined by the corporate office. * Participate in continuous improvement projects and implement initiatives to improve products, processes, and programs. **Education and Experience** * Completed undergraduate degree in engineering. * Master of Business Administration (desirable). * Minimum 5 years of experience in similar roles within the automotive industry. * Advanced English proficiency **Required Competencies** * Solid knowledge of APQP and PPAP processes. * Project management skills. * Technical knowledge of Division products. * General knowledge of materials such as metals, plastics, and electrical/electronic components. * General knowledge of glass forming, plastic injection, painting, and assembly processes. * General knowledge of specific customer requirements (as applicable). * Advanced knowledge of IATF 16949:2016 standard. * General knowledge of tooling. * Proficiency in MS Project and MS Excel. **Awareness, Unity, Empowerment:** ---------------------------------- At Magna, we believe that a diverse workforce is critical to our success.
