Now, let’s make sure you’re a good fit for the role: ***Education \& Experience*** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). * 5\+ years of experience in application management, IT operations, or a similar technical role. * 3\+ years in a senior or leadership capacity managing enterprise applications. * Relevant certifications are a strong plus: AWS/Azure/GCP Associate or Professional, CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator), ITIL v4, or equivalent. ***Must\-have Skills*** * **Operating Systems:** Proficiency in Windows Server administration and Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS) — including scripting with Bash and PowerShell. * **Databases:** Hands\-on experience managing SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL — query optimization, backup/recovery, and high\-availability configurations. * Containers \& Orchestration: Practical experience with Docker (image creation, networking, volumes) and Kubernetes (deployments, Helm charts, cluster management). * **APIs \& Middleware:** Solid understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, API gateways, message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka), and ESB/middleware platforms. * **Microservices:** Familiarity with microservices architecture patterns, service mesh technologies, and distributed systems design. * **Cloud Platforms:** Demonstrated experience with at least one major cloud provider — Azure, AWS, or GCP — including IaaS, PaaS, and cloud\-native services. * Strong analytical and **problem\-solving skills** with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure. ***Nice\-to\-have:*** * **AI Tooling Proficiency**: Leverage one or more AI tools to optimize and augment day\-to\-day work, including drafting, analysis, research, or process automation.
