




**Cost Engineer – Manufacturing** **Location:** Mérida, Yucatán **Work Mode:** On-site, with availability to travel **Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. **Employment Type:** Full-time **Job Objective** Develop and manage manufacturing operations costing through process analysis, calculation of raw material and labor costs, efficiency evaluation, and cost optimization strategies without compromising quality or production times. **Responsibilities** * Analyze and calculate manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, and indirect costs. * Evaluate the operational efficiency of production processes and identify cost improvement opportunities. * Conduct time and motion studies to establish production standards and associated costs. * Develop and update costing models for new products and production processes. * Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to optimize costs and improve profitability. * Assess and follow up on method improvement requests proposed by the Industrial Engineering department. * Provide support to manufacturing teams in optimizing operational costs. * Use Agile Management tools (Jira, Confluence, Slack) for efficient activity tracking and control. * Ensure the correct setup and coding in **GSD (General Sewing Data)** for new products and authorized changes. **Requirements** * Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Systems, IT, Production Processes, or related fields. * Advanced English (conversational). * Preferably 1 year of experience in manufacturing with a focus on cost analysis. * Knowledge of costing methodologies and production standards. * Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and process improvement. * Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office. * Preferably experience with ERP or CRM systems.
