(*Graduates*) **Experience**: Proficiency in CATIA, interpretation of electrical drawings and diagrams, and use of measurement instruments. **Languages**: English (*Intermediate/Advanced*). **Purpose of the Role**: The primary responsibility of development engineers is to create product designs that meet customer requirements, applicable regulations, and Volvo Group’s strategic objectives. This involves integrating inputs from Service, Sales, and Production departments, and performing quality, weight, and cost analyses of the product to achieve established goals. **Main Responsibilities**: * Observe and comply with the organization’s safety, environmental, and occupational health standards. * Design based on quality requirements, automotive standards, and applicable regulations for requested product changes within the organization (production reports, customer adaptations, software maintenance in CATIA design tools, supported by the assigned Product Engineer). * Document technical solutions in the KOLA system. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and build durable components meeting customer and market needs (Processes, Service Market Technology, Service, Purchasing). * Participate in validation and verification of technical solutions released by the assigned Product Engineer. * Apply quality tools (FMEA, DFA, DFAM, 8Ds, Root Cause Analysis) to evaluate and propose technical solutions. * Where applicable, perform physical validation of the solution and request prototype materials. * Support resolution and follow-up of PIL reports until closure. **Location**: Tultitlán, State of Mexico.
