**Overview** At Vertical Coffee Bar, we are looking for a Barista passionate about specialty coffee and customer service. This position is key to delivering an exceptional experience to our customers while maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness, and hospitality in a dynamic and collaborative environment. **AM Shift** * **Monday to Friday:** 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. * **Saturday and Sunday:** 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. * **Day off:** 1 weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) **PM Shift** * **Monday to Sunday:** 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. * **Day off:** 1 weekday (rotating) **Key Responsibilities** * Prepare coffee-based beverages (espresso, filter coffees, cold and hot drinks) following recipes and brand standards. * Serve customers in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner. * Operate the espresso machine, grinders, and other bar equipment correctly. * Maintain cleanliness and order at the bar, workstation, and utensils. * Perform basic inventory control and assist with stocktaking. * Comply with hygiene, safety, and food handling best practices. * Support opening and closing procedures according to assigned shifts. * Collaborate as part of a team to ensure smooth operations and an excellent customer experience. **Requirements** * Prior barista experience (preferred but not mandatory if candidate demonstrates strong attitude and willingness to learn). * Basic knowledge of specialty coffee (desirable). * Excellent service attitude and communication skills. * Punctuality, responsibility, and attention to detail. * Ability to work under pressure during peak hours. * Flexible availability (including weekends). **Skills and Competencies** * Teamwork * Organization and cleanliness * Speed and precision * Effective stress management * Positive and proactive attitude **We Offer** * Competitive salary * Ongoing training in coffee and service * Professional and pleasant work environment * Growth opportunities within Vertical Coffee Bar Employment Type: Full-time, Indefinite-term Salary: Starting at $3,500.00 per week Benefits: * Salary increases * Free beverages * Employee discount * Gym discount * Discounts and preferential pricing * Gym services Work Location: On-site employment
