We are currently seeking an “***Accounting Supervisor***” to join our team. The accountant will be responsible for managing the company’s accounting and tax affairs, ensuring compliance with current Mexican financial and tax regulations, as well as accurate recording of accounting transactions, preparation of financial statements, and auditing of current and past-year accounting records. **Responsibilities:** **Accounting and Finance** * Preparation and analysis of financial statements for decision-making. * Tax strategies. * Management and control of revenues, expenses, and cash flow. * Administration of accounting entries. * Review and validation of electronic invoicing in accordance with current legislation. **Taxes and Tax Compliance** * Calculation, filing, and payment of state and federal taxes. * Annual, monthly, and informative tax declarations submitted to the SAT (Tax Administration Service). * Handling of tax refunds, requests, and tax offsets. * Oversight of tax withholdings and fulfillment of tax obligations. **Costs and Budgetary Control** * Inventory control, valuation of stock, and materials management. * Optimization of operational and budgetary costs. * Implementation of strategies to reduce costs and improve profitability. **Auditing and Regulatory Compliance** * Coordination and preparation of internal and external audits. * Compliance with Financial Information Standards (NIF) and applicable regulations. * Implementation of internal controls to prevent fraud or accounting errors. **Administration and Payroll** * Supervision of payroll calculation, IMSS, INFONAVIT, and ISR withholdings. * Control of supplier payments and bank reconciliations. * Liaison with banks and management of corporate credit facilities. * Familiarity with Aspel software **Requirements:** Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting. Experience: Minimum 5 years in similar positions, verifiable. Technical Knowledge: * Proficiency in ISR, IVA, and withholding taxes. * Preparation and use of working papers for calculating monthly and annual taxes. * Use of platforms (SAT, IMSS, INFONAVIT, SUA). * Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., CONTPAQi, SAP, COI, etc.). * Advanced Excel. **Job Offer:** Salary: $17,000.00 – $22,000.00 per month, based on verifiable experience.
