Maintenance of hygiene and food safety. -Prepare and cook food according to recipes and establishment standards. -Organize and plan daily production (mise en place). -Select, wash, cut, and prepare ingredients. -Monitor cooking times and temperatures. -Maintain cleanliness and order in the work area, utensils, and equipment. -Comply with hygiene, food safety, and food handling regulations. -Properly store food and verify expiration dates. -Control portion sizes and dish presentation. -Collaborate with the kitchen team and follow instructions from the chef or kitchen supervisor. -Support inventory control and report shortages or waste. -Adapt preparations for allergies or special requirements when necessary.
