




Job Summary: Handle events and incidents in the network infrastructure to ensure continuity of services to customers. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operate and maintain network event detection tools 2. Perform initial diagnostics and define incident priorities 3. Ensure service continuity through maintenance windows **JOB MISSION** Address events and/or incidents arising in the company’s network infrastructure that affect services offered to customers, ensuring timely resolution. **REQUIREMENTS** * Bachelor’s degree / Engineering in Telecommunications, Electronics, or Computer Science * 1 year of network operations experience * Basic knowledge of telecommunications and IP networks * Desired: CCNA and ITIL certifications **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Know and efficiently operate available tools for detecting network events or incidents affecting services, studying and learning individually about each tool to support maintaining the service received by/with the customer * Detect and address events and/or incidents occurring in the network infrastructure that affect Megacable services, using monitoring tools applied per equipment type, to enable timely response before mass occurrence of the event/incident * Perform operational and maintenance routines using assigned proactive monitoring checklists to ensure infrastructure operation complies with established operational parameters * Monitor the execution process of Maintenance Windows using established validation criteria and rollback timeframes to ensure continuity of the service received by/with the customer * Generate Event or Incident tickets for issues lacking implemented automation, supported by the ticketing system, to track and resolve the event or incident * Conduct initial diagnostics to determine causes of Events or Incidents, leveraging information and evidence using monitoring and analysis tools available for each involved equipment, enabling prompt attention and resolution of the reported incident or event * Define priority levels for detected Events or Incidents using the existing Priority Assignment Policy to ensure correct implementation of the corresponding SLA * Reassign Event or Incident tickets to the appropriate Resolution Groups using the ticketing system for resolution according to the affected service Employment Type: Full-time Salary: Starting at $13,669.80 per month Benefits: * Employee discount * Life insurance * Grocery vouchers Application Question(s): * Do you have basic CCNA knowledge? * Have you worked with IP networks? * Have you worked with maintenance windows?
