Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced General Accountant committed to operational excellence and financial compliance to oversee resources and support administrative management. GENERAL ACCOUNTANT Work Location: Fraccionamiento los Héroes, Mérida, Yucatán At Amerimed Hospitals Unidad Mérida, we seek an experienced General Accountant preferably with background in the hospital sector, committed to operational excellence and financial compliance. REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Accounting (degree certificate and professional license mandatory). Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position. Solid knowledge of accounting, financial, and tax practices. Willingness to travel to Quintana Roo for training. POSITION OBJECTIVE: Ensure accurate accounting (tax) operations by supervising the company’s financial resources, interacting with departments such as warehouse, procurement, and human resources, and supporting Administrative Management to ensure project development and proper functioning. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitor and ensure budget compliance and tax obligations. Plan and control cash flow. Establish policies and procedures to optimize operations of assigned departments. Track and support new projects. Analyze budget variances. Conduct cost analyses for budget proposals submitted to clients. Review payroll and income/expense reports. Collaborate closely with medical and nursing teams to align administrative operations with institutional objectives. KEY COMPETENCIES: Analytical thinking and innovation.
