Objective: Assist the bartender with bar requirements, as well as keep the bar fully stocked (beer, soft drinks, ice, etc.), and maintain it clean and organized at all times. Specific duties: ➢ Check the operation of bar equipment (refrigerators, ice machine, coffee maker, blender, etc.). ➢ Immediately report any missing items or damaged equipment to the supervisor. ➢ Report ready for opening Terrace Bar (Opening) ➢ Arrive on time, properly uniformed, leaving personal belongings and backpacks in locker. ➢ Clock in via fingerprint system and notify immediate supervisor upon arrival. ➢ Sweep and mop the bar floor, including cleaning the drain. ➢ Verify initial inventory (stock) and confirm sufficient supplies for the shift; restock if necessary (according to assigned bar station). ➢ Check cleanliness of glassware used for serving drinks (polish before use). o Staff on duty must check refrigerator output and labeling daily. o Labeling must include product name, preparation date, and expiration date. (Refer to product expiration list) ➢ Keep back bar, glassware area, and glass rack area clean and organized. ➢ The bar must be clean and have a minimum of 3 clean, fully stocked napkin dispensers. ➢ Connect the printer and verify it is functioning properly. ➢ Complete your checklist to ensure everything is ready for service. ➢ Maintain the overall good appearance of the bar. ➢ Fill out the waste report sheet and take a clear photo as physical evidence—photo must clearly show the waste item (e.g., frozen beers); for wines, the photo must show the wine's opening date (send photo to the bars group chat). ➢ Prepare and serve drinks ordered by waitstaff within quality and presentation standards (within 3 minutes). ➢ Polish glassware used for drink service. ➢ Keep the glass rack area (glass rail) clean. ➢ Maintain professional appearance during service hours. ➢ Inform immediate supervisor of any shortages. ➢ Perform bar closing procedures when instructed and serve no further drinks. ➢ Wash glasses and bar accessories.
