For more information about Modine, visit www.modine.com. **Position Description** ------------------------ Individual responsible for performing electric welding activities—TIG and MIG—on stainless steel, carbon steel, and copper. **Key Responsibilities** ------------------------ 1\.\- Interpretation of drawings and use of basic measuring instruments (Optional for Aluminum area). 2\.\- Operation and adjustment of TIG and MIG welding machines. 3\.\- Use of assembly tools and templates. 4\.\- Cleaning of own work area. 5\.\- Proper use of personal protective equipment and application of industrial safety practices. 6\.\- Adjustment and correction of parameters in automatic welding systems. 7\.\- Performing preventive maintenance activities. 8\.\- Ensuring quality aspects in the process. Support and participate in achieving established quality objectives related to Safety and Environment, PPM’s, Scrap, and On-Time Delivery. **Required Education \& Qualifications** ---------------------------------------- 1\.\- Technical degree (Electromechanical, Mechatronics, Mechanical, or Maintenance). 2\.\- Mandatory experience. 3\.\- Availability to work overtime and/or shift changes. 4\.\- Responsible. 5\.\- Knowledge of welding machine adjustments. 6\.\- No prescription eyewear allowed. 7\.\- Proactive and team-oriented. 8\.\- Willingness to learn and teach. 9\.\- Focus on implementing self-directed teams.
