Job Summary: Provide clients with advisory services on tariff classification, manage defense before customs authorities, and ensure compliance with customs regulations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Expert advisory services on tariff classification 2. Management of defense before customs authorities 3. Verification and assignment of tariff classifications * Provide advisory services to internal and external clients regarding tariff classification and defense against classifications issued by authorities. * Perform activities of the customs classifier, excluding customs incidents. * Review case files and prior verification documents. * Manage defense proceedings on the platform before customs authorities. * Conduct prior verification when required. * Inform operational staff about updates related to tariff regulations and restrictions. * Assign tariff classifications to foreign trade goods. * Verify assigned tariff classifications against prior verification reports and photographs in importation cases. * Verify technical specifications, analysis certificates, product images, certificates of origin, or any other relevant documentation for tariff classification assignment. * Comply with processes related to Physical Security, Information Security, and Supply Chain Security (Policies, Procedures, Manuals, Work Instructions, Forms, etc.).
