**Join UNADE!** **Who are we?** The **American University of Europe (UNADE)** offers high-quality master’s and doctoral programs, focused on the professional and personal development of our students. **What are we looking for?** We are seeking a candidate with solid foundations in cybersecurity, a preventive mindset, and a learning attitude—interested in developing professionally in the protection of institutional systems, networks, and data, with ongoing mentorship and growth. **Responsibilities** * Support the protection of institutional systems, networks, and equipment. * Monitor security events and assist in incident response. * Collaborate in identifying vulnerabilities and implementing basic controls. * Document security activities, incidents, and actions. * Support cybersecurity awareness campaigns and phishing simulations. * Assist in business continuity and incident recovery plans. **Requirements** * Technical degree in **Systems, Computer Science, Networking, Cybersecurity or related field** (intern, graduate, or incomplete). * **1 to 2 years of experience**, professional internships, or academic projects related to the field. * Basic to intermediate knowledge of **Windows and Linux operating systems**, including user management, permissions, and services. * Fundamentals of **networking**, basic segmentation, protocols, and understanding of **firewalls**. * Familiarity with **security incident detection and response**, initial analysis, and escalation procedures. * Basic usage or knowledge of **security event monitoring and analysis tools (SIEM)**. * Ability to identify and analyze **vulnerabilities** in systems, networks, and applications using scanning tools. * Knowledge of **antivirus and antimalware management** in corporate environments. * Ability to **document incidents, corrective actions, and preventive measures** clearly and systematically. * Basic understanding of **data protection and regulatory compliance (GDPR)**. * Desirable knowledge of **encryption, access control, identity management, and digital certificates**. * Initial interest or experience in **penetration testing, technical audits, digital forensics, or DevSecOps** (preferred). * Familiarity with **security frameworks and standards**, such as ISO 27001 or other management schemes (preferred). * Proactive attitude, analytical thinking, and willingness to learn. **We offer:** * Statutory benefits. * Base monthly salary range of **$11,000 to $16,000** (based on experience). * Continuous training. * Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Weekends off. * Excellent team-oriented work environment.
