




Job Summary: A professional responsible for ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations in construction projects, preventing occupational hazards, and protecting personnel and the environment. Ohana’s approach to the master development plan focuses on: Comprehensive benefits shared between owners and the environment. **Job Mission:** Ensure that all operations and activities within construction projects comply with current safety standards and regulations, and detect and prevent occupational hazards to protect the physical integrity of personnel, the environment, and material resources involved in the project. **General Description:** Qualified personnel for implementing and managing safety systems across all types of construction projects. **Job Responsibilities:** Operational * Monitor proper use of safety equipment. * Verify safety measures prior to commencement of the workday. * Report hazardous actions and dangerous situations. * Propose workplace improvements. * Consider feedback and suggestions from workers, who may identify risk factors early. * Ensure workplace cleanliness and proper appearance. * Coordinate necessary activities to comply with our Waste Management Policy on construction projects. * Conduct site walkthroughs to identify workplace hazards (appropriate use of PPE, validation of work equipment and their respective areas). * Verify that workers understand safety measures. * Inform workers about hazards present at their workplace. * Monitor whether the company provides appropriate safety equipment. * Investigate potentially hazardous situations reported by staff. * Conduct scheduled and unscheduled safety inspections. * Halt company operations in high-risk situations. * Report workplace accidents and illnesses. * Analyze incident causes to prevent recurrence. Administrative * Prepare periodic reports on the safety and hygiene status of construction projects. Management * Know and apply the company’s internal regulations to administer disciplinary actions when personnel fail to comply with established safety measures—especially when such noncompliance jeopardizes the integrity of other staff members, the environment, or the project itself. * Know and apply current safety and hygiene regulations applicable to the construction industry. REQUIREMENTS Work Schedule: Monday–Saturday Requirements and Academic Qualifications: 1. High school diploma or higher (preferred). 2. Minimum 2 years of experience supervising construction projects. 3. Possession of DC-3 certificates. 4. Knowledge of safety and hygiene regulations. 5. Strong verbal communication skills and attentiveness. 6. Observational ability to detect anomalies and unsafe practices. 7. Leadership skills. 8. Knowledge of waste management practices. 9. Responsibility and efficiency in preparing safety reports.
