




Position Summary: We are seeking a proactive and organized Civil Construction Resident to ensure project execution in accordance with drawings, specifications, budget, and construction schedule. Responsibility for project quality, schedule, safety, and cost Recent graduate or experienced Civil Construction Resident, proactive and highly organized, to join our construction team. The candidate will serve as the technical authority on the assigned construction site, ensuring that project execution complies with drawings, quality specifications, budget, and construction schedule. Main Responsibilities: * Planning and development of activities per work front to supervise progress. * Completing and updating the physical site logbook. * Preparing photographic reports and internal progress logs. * Verifying receipt and quality of materials delivered to the site. * Conducting field surveys (e.g., generator numbers) for payment estimates. * Interpreting drawings and technical specifications to resolve operational staff queries. * Verifying proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by all personnel. * Managing requests for materials, tools, and equipment required for the following day. * Performing basic quality control tests (e.g., concrete slump, compaction). * Estimating and quantifying payments to subcontractors and workers. * Measuring construction progress and quantifying executed work volumes. Main Functions: * Supervising and coordinating in-house operational personnel and subcontractor crews. * Ensuring strict compliance with construction drawings and project specifications. * Implementing and monitoring short-term construction schedules (weekly and daily planning). * Enforcing industrial safety and hygiene regulations on site. * Administering and optimizing allocated resources (labor, machinery, materials). * Reviewing and validating estimates submitted by contractors and subcontractors. * Promptly reporting deviations or issues to the Superintendent or Project Manager. * Coordinating supply logistics and sequencing of different work fronts. * Maintaining on-site project documentation control ("As-Built" drawings, permits, analyses). * Resolving minor technical issues arising during construction. Key Responsibilities: * **Quality:** Ensure all executed work meets the quality standards and technical specifications defined in the execution project. * **Schedule:** Ensure activities under the candidate's responsibility are completed according to the established construction schedule, reporting any delays and proposing corrective actions. * **Safety:** Maintain a safe working environment, serving as the primary responsible party for accident prevention and enforcement of safety protocols on assigned work fronts. * **Cost:** Optimize resource usage, minimize material waste, and control effective labor and machinery time to avoid exceeding the budget. * **Communication:** Serve as the direct technical and operational liaison between field personnel (foremen, contractors) and project management (Superintendent).
