We are currently seeking: **GENERAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN** (Experience in the restaurant industry preferred / Not mandatory) **POSITION OBJECTIVE:** Oversee the execution of maintenance and repair activities in restaurants by carrying out and supervising work performed by staff under supervision or external providers, ensuring proper operation and preservation of movable and immovable assets. **REQUIREMENTS:** * Work schedule: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm (Flexible availability) * Recommended age: 25 years and above * Experience: minimum 2 years * Technical degree/qualification: Industrial and Residential Maintenance **TECHNICAL SKILLS (1 to 2 years)** * Electrical systems * Air conditioning * Plumbing * Masonry and painting * Kitchen equipment * Refrigeration systems **MAIN FUNCTIONS / RESPONSIBILITIES** * Conduct inspection rounds and monitor facility conditions through continuous supervision. * Perform general maintenance tasks on facilities including masonry, painting, plumbing, refrigeration, among others. * Carry out facility inspections to identify malfunctions and recommend appropriate repairs. * Complete maintenance log records accurately. * Check temperatures of cold rooms and refrigerators to ensure proper operation. * Perform preventive maintenance according to the established maintenance schedule. * Execute corrective maintenance when necessary or provide at least two alternative external service providers. * Supervise the proper performance of external service providers. * Inform the general manager about scheduled preventive maintenance. * Coordinate with the general manager and chef to schedule fumigation and pest control activities. * Verify correct operation of gas valves. * Ensure optimal lighting conditions throughout the restaurant. * Keep assigned work area clean and organized.
