Maintenance of accurate records of activities and materials Grupo Alfer, a construction company Is seeking a "Fusion Splicer Technician" Responsibilities: * Perform fiber optic splicing using fusion or mechanical splicing techniques. * Prepare and organize the work area prior to splicing, ensuring it is clean, safe, and properly equipped. * Conduct OTDR tests to verify the integrity and efficiency of the fiber optic network. * Conduct insertion loss and/or optical power tests to verify the integrity and efficiency of the fiber optic network. * Maintain accurate records of all activities performed, including splices completed, tests conducted, and materials used. Requirements: * Reside in the area * Prior experience in fiber optics * Technical degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Systems, or related field. * Minimum 1 year of fusion experience and certification * Fiber optics. * Structured cabling certification.
