Grupo Alfer, a construction company, seeks a "Fusion Splicer Technician" Responsibilities: * Perform optical fiber splicing using fusion or mechanical splicing techniques. * Prepare and organize the work area prior to splicing, ensuring it is clean, safe, and properly equipped. * Conduct OTDR testing to verify optical fiber network integrity and efficiency. * Conduct insertion loss and/or power testing to verify optical fiber network integrity and efficiency. * Maintain accurate records of all activities performed, including splices completed, tests conducted, and materials used. Requirements: * Reside in the area. * Prior experience in optical fiber. * Technical degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Systems, or related field. * Minimum 1 year of fusion experience and certification. * Optical fiber. * Structured cabling certification.
