




Job Summary: We are seeking a committed and responsible Veterinary Assistant to support the medical team in hospitalization, surgery, and laboratory services, ensuring animal welfare. We seek a committed, responsible Veterinary Assistant with a passion for animal welfare to join our Hospitalization and Comprehensive Medical Care team. The selected candidate will provide operational and clinical support to the veterinary medical team in areas including consultation, hospitalization, surgery, imaging, and laboratory services, contributing to adherence to patient care protocols, biosecurity measures, and service quality standards. Responsibilities: * Assist the veterinarian during consultations, clinical procedures, and hospital-based treatments. * Safely and respectfully restrain and handle patients during examinations, treatments, and sample collection. * Prepare and maintain examination rooms, hospitalization wards, and operating rooms in optimal condition. * Support medication administration and basic care under veterinary instruction. * Assist in collecting and processing laboratory samples. * Monitor the general condition of hospitalized patients and promptly report any clinical changes. * Maintain work areas clean, organized, and compliant with hygiene and biosecurity protocols. * Ensure proper handling, inventory control, and replenishment of medical supplies. * Participate in clinical meetings, internal training sessions, and continuous improvement activities. * Comply with animal welfare policies, professional ethics, and internal protocols. Key Knowledge and Skills: * Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and animal handling. * Ability to work under direct veterinary supervision. * Organizational skills, punctuality, and accountability. * Teamwork ability and capacity for multidisciplinary collaboration. * Empathetic and respectful attitude toward animals, owners, and colleagues. * Commitment to cleanliness, order, and biosecurity standards. * Proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and adaptability to unexpected situations. Requirements: * Completed high school education. * Technical training or certification program in Veterinary Assistance. * Minimum 6 months’ experience in animal handling or clinical assistance. * Availability to work rotating shifts and weekends.
