**Position:** Construction Supervisor **Area:** Construction / Operations **Reports to:** Site Resident / Project Coordinator / Construction Manager **Location:** IN FRONT OF MERIDA AIRPORT **Contract type:** Fixed-term or indefinite (depending on project) **Job Objective:** To supervise, coordinate, and control operational activities at the construction site, ensuring compliance with plans, technical specifications, safety, quality standards, and established timelines, in order to guarantee the proper execution of the project. **Main Responsibilities:** * Coordinate operational staff (skilled workers, assistants, contractors, suppliers, etc.). * Verify physical progress of the project according to schedule and report deviations. * Supervise correct execution of work according to plans and specifications. * Control the use and efficiency of materials, tools, and equipment. * Review estimates, logs, and daily site reports. * Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene regulations on site. * Assist in material reception and verify quality and quantity. * Maintain constant communication with the site resident or coordinator. * Resolve technical and operational issues arising during construction. * Assist in preparing photographic and documentary progress reports. **Requirements:** * **Education:** Technical degree or Engineering in Construction, Civil Engineering, or related field. * **Experience:** Minimum 2 to 3 years in supervision of civil works, finishes, or infrastructure. * **Knowledge:** * Ability to read and interpret blueprints. * Construction control and cost estimation. * Industrial safety standards. * Material and labor control. * Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, Office, and email. * **Skills:** * Leadership and teamwork. * Effective communication. * Planning and organization. * Problem solving. * Responsibility and commitment. **Working Conditions:** * 100% field work. * Variable hours according to project needs. * Supervision of multiple work fronts simultaneously. * Possibility of relocation or assignment to different projects.
