




Position Summary: The Representative will generate sales of veterinary products within an assigned territory, establishing business relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction. Job Description The Representative is responsible for generating sales of our products for the small animal business unit within their assigned territory, by fulfilling the needs of our customers—so that they view the Representative, the Company, and their Distributor as trusted business partners and advisors on health and management programs, and thus on the productivity and profitability of their business. The Representative must plan, organize, and oversee consultative sales activities in their territory to ensure all potential customers are visited at the frequency determined by their segmentation, and that our programs and products are promoted accordingly. Additionally, the Representative is responsible for coordinating, training, and motivating the distributor’s sales force operating within their territory, as well as for developing commercial strategies to drive sales in their area of responsibility. **Key Responsibilities:** * Conduct profitability and needs analyses of commercial partners and potential customers to meet the requirements of their territory. * Establish, develop, and maintain positive and productive short-, medium-, and long-term business relationships. * Resolve customer complaints and concerns promptly. * Achieve established sales targets and deliver agreed-upon results within the specified timeframe, as well as qualitative objectives. * Establish and coordinate with support departments plans to maximize sales within the territory. * Periodically provide management with reports on customer needs and opportunities, as well as competitor activities. * Proficiency in Office applications, executive presentations of the territory, time management, and organizational skills. * Develop new business and identify growth opportunities to achieve agreed sales objectives. * Ensure strategies that drive Sell-In and Sell-Out growth among existing and/or potential commercial partners and customers. Experience in distributing companion animal veterinary products to drive Sell-Out. **Required Profile** Veterinarian, Agricultural Engineer, Animal Scientist, Business Administration, or related degree. Minimum 1 year of sales experience in the companion animal channel. Sell-Out Basic computer skills (Office applications) Knowledge of demand generation processes and administration of a veterinary hospital, clinic, and/or practice.
