Audit culture and continuous improvement **Job Summary** Responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating activities related to goods receipt, storage, inventory control, and dispatch. Primary objectives include ensuring: * Product integrity * Accuracy of records * On-time delivery fulfillment All while optimizing operational costs and leading high-performance teams. **Education and Experience** **Degrees:** * Industrial Engineering * Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics * Business Administration or related fields * Preferred: Specialization or Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management **Experience:** * Minimum 5 years in logistics operations * At least 3 years in supervisory or managerial roles within high-volume warehouses **Technical Knowledge (Hard Skills)** **Inventory Management:** * Proficiency in Par Stocks (safety stock) * Management of maximum and minimum stock levels * Minimum: Reorder point to prevent stockouts * Maximum: Control to avoid overstocking, shrinkage, and tied-up capital * Implementation of replenishment alerts **Inventory Control:** * FIFO (First-In, First-Out) management to ensure freshness, especially in the restaurant sector **Software and Technology:** * ERP/POS system proficiency for restaurants (e.g., Soft Restaurant, Oracle Micros, Toast, or similar) * Real-time integration between inventory and sales systems * (Automatic deduction based on standard recipes) **Competencies and Skills (Soft Skills)** * Strategic vision (impact on financial results) * Leadership and management of operational teams * Management of rotating shifts * Resilience and crisis management * Data analysis for decision-making * Negotiation skills with suppliers and carriers * Sustainable leadership (waste reduction and operational efficiency) * Audit culture and continuous improvement **Main Responsibilities** * **Inventory Management** * Supervise cyclical and annual inventories with >98% accuracy * **Space Optimization** Design warehouse layout to improve flow and picking Ensure quality and timeliness compliance Coordinate last-mile logistics and distribution Guarantee compliance with equipment and facility regulations Supervise processes such as cutting, preparation, and washing Prevent shrinkage and ensure standard costs Coordinate supply according to sales projections Comply with sanitary regulations across all processes Implement product traceability systems * **Receipt and Dispatch Control** * **Fleet and Transportation Management** * **Maintenance and Safety** * **Production and Portioning Management** * **Yield Control** * **Demand Planning (MRP)** * **Food Safety Assurance** * **Batch Traceability** **Tools and Work Resources** **Technology:** * Full access to ERP / Restaurant Software (e.g., Soft Restaurant or similar) * WMS (Warehouse Management System) proficiency for warehouse management **Equipment:** * Mobile devices for real-time data capture * Computing equipment for control, analysis, and logistics operations **Safety:** * Use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in accordance with safety and hygiene regulations * Compliance with operational protocols for risk prevention Salary: Up to $18,000.00 per month Application Question(s): * Have you supervised personnel in a high-volume warehouse or distribution center (CEDIS) for at least 3 years? * Have you worked in the restaurant or food industry? * Do you have experience implementing and managing inventory maximum and minimum levels? * Do you have experience with ERP systems or restaurant software (e.g., Soft Restaurant, Micros, Toast, or similar)? * Have you used any WMS (Warehouse Management System)? * Are you agreeable to a monthly salary of $18,000.00?
