




**General Objective:** Perform conventional radiology, computed tomography, mammography, magnetic resonance imaging, or bone densitometry studies with quality, optimizing resources according to established protocols, applying radiological criteria to highlight the most representative images, providing careful and respectful attention to each patient, as well as supporting administrative processes when required **Job Responsibilities:** The radiology technician is responsible for: ? Operational o Provide quality patient care by conducting a prior assessment before the study and adhering to current regulations. o Comply with and enforce safety and environmental regulations in accordance with procedures established by the organization, and comply with established norms regarding risk prevention. o Observe all rules and procedures specified by the general management and the head of radiology. o Properly use the equipment and technical devices provided for their protection, that of the staff, the public, and the patient. o Daily inspect equipment, verifying general conditions (calibration, levels, etc.), reporting any malfunctions to the area supervisor and recording findings in the logbook. o Be responsible for the rational use of medical and computer equipment provided by the organization, as well as request timely preventive and corrective maintenance from the service supervisor. o Meet and maintain productivity indicators, user satisfaction, waiting times for service, and reactions to contrast media. o Maintain control over maximum and minimum levels of necessary supplies and medications in the service and in the emergency cart. o Promptly enter charges into the system for each service provided. o Place weekly orders for radiological consumables, wound care materials, and specialized materials required for radiology procedures. o Supervise the rational use of contrast media, radiological consumables, wound care materials, specialized radiology materials, and stationery. o Read, understand, and implement manuals on radiation protection, radiological safety, and technical procedures of the service. o Know and apply hospital procedures and policies. o Attend training courses determined by the hospital. o Actively participate in drills, emergency codes, facility safety brigades, and scheduled simulations. o Participate in patient safety training. o Carry out all functions inherent to their area of competence. **Education:** Bachelor's degree **Experience:** Minimum 1 year of professional experience Minimum 1 year in the hospital sector or related field (healthcare, hotels) **Schedule:** **Travel Required:** - **We Offer:** **Hospital:** **MediMAC Merida** CONTACT **Email:** jorge.gutierrez@hospitalesmac.com **Phone:** Apply
