Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager in hotel environments to supervise operations and ensure optimal facility performance. Key Responsibilities: 1. Ensures compliance with safety and hygiene regulations **Experience:** Minimum 3 years in hotel or industrial maintenance. **Education:** Technical degree or bachelor’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Maintenance, or related field. **Position Profile:** **Position:** Maintenance Manager **Reports to:** Operations Manager **Direct Reports:** Yes (10) (may vary depending on hotel structure) **Gender:** Unrestricted ***Age***: 30 to 45 years **Education:** Technical degree or bachelor’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Maintenance, or related field. ***Preferably:*** Resides in the Northern Zone of Cuernavaca **Minimum Experience:** 1 to 2 years in Industrial Maintenance within the Hotel Industry ***Technical Knowledge:*** * Electricity, plumbing, and HVAC. * Pool and hydraulic systems maintenance. * Safety and civil protection regulations. * Energy efficiency and preventive maintenance. * Use of maintenance logs and maintenance software (desirable). **Functions and Responsibilities** * Develop and implement the **preventive and corrective maintenance program**. * Supervise proper operation of electrical, hydraulic, sanitary, air conditioning, elevator, and special equipment systems. * Respond to and promptly follow up on failure reports from various hotel departments. * Coordinate work with **external suppliers** and contractors. * Control inventory of tools, spare parts, and materials. * Prepare purchase requisitions and manage department budget. * Ensure compliance with **safety and hygiene regulations**. * Supervise maintenance of common areas, guest rooms, and service areas. * Maintain **maintenance logs** and technical reports. * Train and evaluate direct reports. * Support internal and external audits. * Participate in contingency planning and emergency response. * Electricity, plumbing, and HVAC. * Pool and hydraulic systems maintenance. * Safety and civil protection regulations. * Energy efficiency and preventive maintenance. * Use of maintenance logs and maintenance software (desirable). **Authority** * Assign tasks to maintenance staff. * Request materials, tools, and external services. * Shut down equipment or facilities posing safety risks. * Propose technical improvements and energy-saving measures. **Work Relationships** * **Internal:** Management, Housekeeping, Front Desk, Food & Beverage, Security. * **External:** Suppliers, contractors, specialized technicians.
