Are you ready to be part of the change? ***Forestry Permit Coordinator*** **Job Mission:** Coordinate, implement, and monitor project-level biodiversity strategies to comply with the terms of each forest land-use change authorization—conditions related to biodiversity included in the environmental impact authorization and its amendments—as well as applicable legal requirements on biodiversity, soil, water, and atmosphere currently in force for the project. Ensure alignment of this strategy with the Environmental Permit Coordinator, Environmental Permit Manager, Senior Permit & Right-of-Way Manager. **Your Impact:** As a ***Forestry Permit Coordinator***, you will have the opportunity to directly contribute to our mission by playing a key role in: * Developing strategies to achieve environmental objectives defined by ENGIE and Mexico. * Collaborating with the environmental team across all project phases, considering joint participation and intervention by each contractor; jointly establishing training programs with HSE and HR departments, reviewing reinforcement needs in case of deficiencies identified in either party or third parties in forestry and/or environmental matters, as applicable. * Implementing the project’s environmental management system—including contractors—and establishing and controlling relevant forestry-specific indicators. * Ensuring legal compliance and official representation before regulatory authorities (e.g., ASEA, SEMARNAT) and adherence to Group environmental provisions according to the advisory and facilitation functions of this position, supporting internal and external environmental audits. * Establishing and managing the environmental management budget and resources together with the Senior Permit Manager. **COMPETENCIES:** Environmental Engineer, Biologist, or related field. Experience in biodiversity management. 6 years’ experience in environmental and forestry management systems. Implementation, monitoring, and continuous improvement of environmental systems. Environmental expertise, particularly in forestry.
