We seek an experienced Warehouse Worker in hotel projects who wishes to join the team leading the renovation and repositioning of a hotel in Cancún, aiming to complete the project and prepare for its opening within approximately 10 months. **Job Objectives:** The Warehouse Worker is responsible for executing daily operations within the warehouse, ensuring materials, products, or supplies are stored efficiently, available when needed, and distributed correctly, following instructions from the Warehouse Manager. **Responsibilities** **Planning and Organization:** * Assist in determining goods distribution and placement to facilitate access, rotation, and optimal use of space. * Ensure compliance with product location, coding, and identification procedures. * Maintain order, cleanliness, and safety of facilities. **Equipment Handling:** * Operate and supervise proper use and maintenance of material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.). **Regulatory Compliance:** * Ensure compliance with occupational safety and hygiene regulations. **Inventory and Documentation Management:** * Conduct periodic inventory counts jointly with the Warehouse Manager to ensure record accuracy and detect possible discrepancies. * Accurately record all goods receipts and shipments. * Identify, classify, and report damaged or unsuitable goods for subsequent handling. * Verify delivery notes, invoices, and other documents related to incoming goods. **Inbound and Outbound Logistics:** * Supervise goods receipt and ensure received items match orders in quantity and quality. * Organize and perform efficient and safe unloading. * Prepare orders accurately and on time. * Organize and perform efficient and safe loading. **Continuous Improvement:** * Participate in the continuous improvement of warehouse processes and propose solutions. * Resolve any incidents or issues arising in the warehouse and promptly inform the Warehouse Manager. **Requirements:** --------------- **Required Education:** * Higher or Intermediate Vocational Training in logistics, warehousing, administration, or related fields. **Work Experience** * 1–3 years of demonstrable work experience in operational warehouse or stockroom positions. * Experience handling bulky materials, special palletization, and manual unloading. **Technical Skills:** * Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems. * Knowledge of Occupational Risk Prevention. * Driver’s license and personal vehicle are desirable.
