Job Summary: This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventive maintenance on diesel engines, including using diagnostic tools and maintaining records. Key Responsibilities: 1. Diesel engine diagnosis and repair 2. Performing preventive and safety maintenance 3. Using computerized diagnostic tools * **Diagnosis and repair**: Inspect and diagnose diesel engines, as well as repair or replace defective parts. * **Preventive maintenance**: Perform regular preventive maintenance, such as oil and filter changes and fluid level checks. * **Safety inspection**: Conduct safety inspections on diesel vehicles and equipment. * **Use of diagnostic tools**: Utilize computerized diagnostic tools to identify faults in diesel engines and systems. * **Record keeping**: Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles and performed repairs.
