




Job Summary: We are seeking a Front Desk Agent to manage guest arrivals and departures, ensure an exceptional guest experience, and maximize hotel occupancy. Key Highlights: 1. As part of Minor Hotels, Minor Hotels Europe & Americas oversees more than 350 properties across 30 countries and plans growth across all segments, with a focus on luxury and upscale brands. **Your Mission:** ------------------------- As a **Front Desk Agent**, you will be responsible for addressing guest needs upon arrival and departure, and delivering an exceptional overall stay experience aligned with the hotel’s vision and values regarding guest satisfaction. **Your Responsibilities:** --------------------------- * Promptly and professionally receive and complete check-in procedures for all arriving guests and groups, as well as check-out procedures for departing guests and groups. * Coordinate room assignments based on guest profiles (VIPs, regular guests, new guests, etc.) with the relevant department. * Manage, as needed, and ensure the front desk and management team remain fully informed of guest requests, inquiries, complaints, and/or suggestions — whether from guests or other departments. * Be thoroughly familiar with all hotel products and services, rates, available promotions and discount packages, as well as daily special events and VIP activities. * Know and communicate available hotel services (e.g., restaurant reservations) and general safety information. * Maximize room occupancy at optimal rates (including closing sales and extranet bookings, if required). * Apply upselling techniques (promoting the company’s loyalty program and Rewards, alternative destinations, food & beverage, transportation, and hotel facilities). * Manage guest room reservations. * Provide guests with information about the property and surrounding area (museums, monuments), including special events, points of interest, restaurants, activities, etc., in the city. * Respond to guest requests for special services or arrangements (e.g., transportation, reservations, dry cleaning) by organizing them directly or identifying appropriate service providers. * Adhere to corporate brand standards. * Assist other departments as needed. * Deliver and provide night-time guest services (e.g., wake-up calls). * Handle billing payments and cashiering operations during the night shift. * Conduct rounds, check for irregularities, and secure windows, doors, etc. * Be responsible for completing nightly audit reports. **What We Are Looking For:** ------------------ * Prior experience in the Front Office department, preferably in a hotel of similar size and complexity. * Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Hotel Management or equivalent. * Fluency in the local language and advanced English proficiency are mandatory. * Familiarity with various computer programs (Microsoft Office, TMS, etc.) and Front Office systems. * Strong customer service orientation. * Flexibility to respond effectively to varied work situations. * Excellent communication skills. * Commercial orientation. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. **Why Join Us?** ----------------------- At **Minor Hotels Europe & Americas**, we are committed to shaping exciting global careers and intercultural experiences.
