**Overview:** EHS Manager, responsible for implementing and monitoring specific policies and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements. **Responsibilities:** Administers and mentors company personnel—and especially personnel in the Health, Safety, and Environment (EHS) Department—on EHS matters. Understands and establishes the strategy to comply with all applicable health, safety, and environmental topics. Leads, together with the engineer and physician, health, safety, and environmental audits, as well as the closure of corrective actions. Leads and mentors the EHS team in incident investigations and the closure of corrective actions. Manages the team to achieve identification, tracking, and closure of actions arising from unsafe acts and conditions. Tracks and ensures acquisition of permits and licenses related to workplace safety and environmental matters. Implements and coordinates emergency response plans. Tracks and ensures compliance with governmental agency requirements related to health, safety, and environment. Trains personnel and the EHS team on health, safety, and environmental procedures. Guides and coordinates the EHS team to deliver appropriate training and drills for emergency response teams and committee members. Schedules and delegates required safety and environmental inspections and actions to the work team. Understands and evaluates health, safety, and environmental procedures. Complies with company policies and procedures. Establishes the strategy to achieve zero accidents at the site.
