Covia is seeking a **QUALITY COORDINATOR** who will make a positive impact on the **Lampazos Plant** team located in **Nuevo León**. In this role, you will have the opportunity to coordinate quality system and laboratory activities, as well as implement the current work system and maintain the management system certification. **The selected candidate will have the following key responsibilities:** * Coordinate implementation of the Quality Management System at the plant, based on the Quality Improvement Program guidelines and the specific Quality Control Manual, to ensure application of the continuous improvement approach across processes. * Review product and/or process opportunity areas received, validate their applicability, and assign them to the investigator. * Coordinate the plant’s corrective and preventive action process to conduct investigations, develop action plans, and verify effectiveness. * Coordinate the plant’s document control process to ensure use of relevant documents. * Coordinate the plant’s internal audit process to identify improvement opportunities and implement action plans. * Coordinate the ISO recertification process. * Supervise proper operation of the laboratory area to provide the plant with reliable, accurate, and timely technical information regarding raw materials, in-process products, and finished products for decision-making purposes. * Propose changes to master product specifications for plant-processed products to continue meeting customer requirements without impacting costs or productivity. * Coordinate and manage the plant’s continuous improvement and innovation process, as well as document and share best practices from various company units with the plant. * Develop the work system and coordinate its implementation, operation, and follow-up.
