




Job Opening: Tariff Classifier A company in the logistics and foreign trade sector is seeking a **Tariff Classifier**, responsible for the accurate classification of goods in accordance with the General Import and Export Tax Law, ensuring compliance with current customs regulations. **Responsibilities:** * Tariff classification of imported and exported goods. * Analysis of technical data sheets, catalogs, blueprints, and product samples. * Validation of tariff headings in accordance with the General Import and Export Tax Law (LIGIE) and the Integrated Tariff of the United Mexican States (TIGIE). * Support during internal audits and response to requests from customs authorities. * Continuous updating in response to changes in regulations and classification criteria. * Coordination with operational, legal, and client departments for technical clarifications. **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, International Business, Customs, or related field. * Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a tariff classifier. * Proficiency in databases and systems. * Attention to detail and analytical ability. * Preferred: certification or courses in tariff classification.
