Professional growth within an expanding company **Import and Logistics Coordinator** **Location** Colonia San Bartolomé, Coatepec, State of Mexico. This is an on-site position. Only candidates residing within a maximum one-hour commute will be considered. **Employment Type** Full-time **Job Objective** To comprehensively manage and coordinate import and international logistics processes, ***based on prior hands-on experience in actual foreign trade operations***, ensuring shipments arrive on time, in the correct condition, and at optimal cost, while complying with customs regulations and maintaining constant communication with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers. **Main Responsibilities** * Coordinate maritime, air, and land import operations * Monitor international shipments punctually from origin to final delivery * Maintain direct communication with freight forwarders, shipping lines, carriers, and customs brokers * Review and validate foreign trade documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading (BL) or air waybills (AWB), and required certificates * Support customs clearance and release procedures * Track and analyze logistics costs such as freight, handling, taxes, and storage * Validate purchase terms under Incoterms * Coordinate deliveries to warehouses or distribution centers * Identify and resolve issues such as delays, additional charges, or documentation errors * Prepare import status reports * Propose improvements to optimize logistics timeframes and costs **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in International Trade, International Business, Logistics, Administration, or related field * Two to four years of verifiable experience in imports and international logistics, with direct involvement in actual foreign trade operations * Mandatory experience working with customs brokers and freight forwarders * Practical knowledge of Incoterms, Mexican import procedures, and foreign trade documentation * Intermediate proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets * Intermediate English for reading and basic communication with suppliers **Skills and Competencies** * High level of organization and follow-up capability * Clear and effective communication * Ability to handle multiple operations simultaneously * Proactivity and problem-solving orientation * Attention to detail * Sense of urgency and accountability * Basic negotiation skills with logistics providers **We Offer** * Competitive salary commensurate with experience * Job stability * Professional growth within an expanding company * Direct participation in the optimization of logistics processes * Professional and results-oriented work environment **Important Note** This position is not intended for recent graduates or junior profiles.
