Our automotive sector company is seeking an **Import/Export Assistant** to support operational and administrative management of imports and exports, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and proper documentation for foreign trade operations. Responsibilities: · Assist in the preparation and review of import and export documents. · Track domestic and international shipments. · Maintain communication with customs brokers, carriers, and suppliers. · Control and archive customs entries, invoices, and customs documentation. · Assist in entering information into internal systems and customs platforms. · Verify compliance with non-tariff regulations and restrictions. · Support internal audits and foreign trade reviews. · Monitor basic departmental indicators (customs clearance times, costs, incidents). Requirements: · Technical degree or bachelor’s degree in International Trade, International Business, Logistics, or related field (in progress or completed). · Knowledge of IMMEX. · Experience in the Import/Export area. · Basic/intermediate knowledge of: Customs documentation. Incoterms. Tariff classification (desirable). Import and export processes. Office software proficiency (intermediate Excel). · Conversational and fluent English (document reading).
