Summary: Seeking an experienced Foreign Trade, Compliance & Customs professional to manage international trade operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize trade processes. Highlights: 1. Lead foreign trade compliance and customs operations with focus on USMCA. 2. Manage IMMEX program regulations and inventory control systems. 3. Conduct risk assessments and drive compliance audits for import/export. **CANDIDATE PROFILE:** **Scholarship:** Foreign/International Trade, International Business or any related **Sex:** Indistinct **Age:** Older than 30 years **Experience:** Minimum of 6 years in Foreign Trade, Compliance \& Customs **Knowledge:** Intermediate English, ERP (SAP desirable), Microsoft Office Management, Incoterms, Internal Audits, Customs Legislation and Free Trade Agreements **Personal aspects:** Leadership, work ethic, Multitasker, analytical skills, organized, ability to learn, proactive, responsible, able to resolve conflicts, communication skills, teamwork and under pressure and results oriented. **FUNCTIONS OR TASKS** 1\. Close communication with Customs Brokers and competent Customs Authorities 2\. Knowledge of Customs Legislation and International Treaties mainly USMCA 3\. Knowledge in use of DATASTAGE 4\. Knowledge of the IMMEX Program, PROSEC, 8th Rules, VAT and OEA Certification 5\. Knowledge on Bill of Materials and/or Product Structures 6\. Knowledge on origin calcification studies under USMCA 7\. Performs USMCA Free Trade Agreement (“FTA”) qualification and certification analysis. * Oversee the control and management of certificates of origin to ensure accuracy and compliance with the USMCA trade agreement. * Efficient processing of Record Keeping import/export/FTA documents * Researches and provides technical support and advice regarding any new rulings or programs that may provide cost savings to the company. * Auditing and validation of the correct update of Bill of Materials (BOMs). 8\. Classification: Review with Custom Broker proper classification of products and components under the Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS), proper country of origin marking requirements, and proper product and component descriptions. * Maintains and updates Master Classification List and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) application system and assists in the development of automated solutions to import and export transactions. * Maintains proper records to properly support HTS Classification 9\. Efficient processing of Record Keeping import/export/FTA documents. a. Procure the necessary documentation to support legal recordkeeping requirements by both Mexico \& the United States of America. b. Assists in maintaining record keeping and retention policies relating to imports and exports. 10\. Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct risk assessments related to import \& Export activities. Identify potential compliance gaps, and develop measure to mitigate risks. * Drives compliance audits of import records for accuracy of customs classification, duty, and fees; product markings and waivers of marking; USMCA reporting and other related matters. Identifies issues and take corrective action. * Synthesize findings into actionable insights and strategic recommendations for stakeholders. * Analyzes, audits, and evaluates internal and external business partners including operations, procedures, and documentations to verify and ensure global trade compliance. 11\. Manage and ensure compliance with IMMEX program regulations. * Audit temporally importation under IMMEX Program * Management of the Inventory Control System (Annex 24\) * Validate and audit the correct integration of the database of the Foreign Trade Inventory Control System (Annex 24 and Annex 30\). * Annex 30; conduct monthly reports for inventory balance and evaluate results. * Responsible to ensure that the discharge reports are uploaded in the Credit and Guarantee Account Control System (SCCCYG) (Annex 30\). * Responsible of monitoring the VAT credit balance in the Credit and Guarantee Account Control System (SCCCYG) (Annex 30\). * Maintain regular communication with factory areas to keel a correct Fixed Assets Control and provide instructions for fixed assets disposition process. * To manage the Sub maquila/Rule 8th process through the electronic actual Annex 24\. * Administration, control of balances and renewals of Rule 8th.
