Opportunity for professional development **Location:** Mérida, Yucatán Job Objective To manage and monitor customs clearance operations for imports and exports, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and proper release of goods in maritime, air, and land traffic. Main Responsibilities * Coordinate customs clearance operations in maritime, air, and land traffic. * Validate import and export customs declarations (pedimentos). * Verify tariff classification and determination of duties and taxes. * Review foreign trade documentation (commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading (BL), air waybill (AWB), freight bill, certificates of origin, among others). * Monitor pre-clearance procedures, customs inspections, and incidents with authorities. * Maintain communication with clients, customs brokers, shipping lines, airlines, and freight carriers. * Compile and safeguard electronic and physical files. Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, International Business, Customs, Logistics, or related field. * Minimum of **2 to 3 years’ experience in customs clearance**. * Experience in **maritime, air, and land operations**. Knowledge * Annex 22. * Tariff classification and NICO. * Incoterms. * Non-tariff regulations and restrictions (NOMs, permits, automatic notifications). Competencies * Attention to detail. * Organization and management of multiple operations. * Effective communication. * Ability to work under pressure. * Customer service orientation.
