




Job Summary: Supervises payroll procedures, reviews control sheets, validates personnel movements, and processes benefit costs to ensure accurate payments. Key Responsibilities: 1. Supervision and review of payroll processes 2. Management of personnel incidents and movements 3. Calculation and processing of earnings and deductions PAYROLL ASSISTANT RESPONSIBILITIES \- SUPERVISE PAYROLL PROCEDURES. \- REVIEW TIMESHEET AND ATTENDANCE CONTROL SHEETS. \- RECEIVE, VALIDATE, AND FILE PERSONNEL MOVEMENTS AND INCIDENTS FOR PAYROLL APPLICATION. \- PREPARE PAY SLIPS AND COLLECT EMPLOYEE SIGNATURES, SAFEGUARDING DOCUMENTARY EVIDENCE OF REMUNERATION PAYMENTS. \- REPORT PAYROLL ISSUES AND CHANGES TO MANAGEMENT. \- PROCESS BENEFIT COSTS, SUCH AS INSURANCE CONTRIBUTIONS AND SICK LEAVE PAYMENTS. \- ADMINISTER SICK LEAVE CERTIFICATES SUBMITTED BY SUBORDINATES. \- CALCULATE EARNINGS, DEDUCTIONS, CONTRIBUTIONS, TAXES, AND WITHHOLDINGS IN THE PAYROLL SYSTEM AND GENERATE REQUIRED REPORTS. \- OVERSEE TIMELY GENERATION AND DISTRIBUTION OF PAY SLIPS. \- ORIENT AND PROCESS PAYROLL CARDS FOR NEWLY HIRED STAFF. \- RECORD EMPLOYEE COMPLAINTS, QUESTIONS, AND CONCERNS REGARDING PAYROLL SERVICES AND COMMUNICATE THEM TO THE HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT. \- UPDATE EMPLOYEES’ BANKING INFORMATION AS NEEDED TO ENSURE EFFICIENT PAYMENT PROCESSING. \- ENTER PAYROLL DATA INTO THE SYSTEM AND VERIFY ALL AMOUNTS BEFORE DISTRIBUTING CHECKS.
