Job Summary: We are seeking an Accounting Assistant to record journal entries, perform bank reconciliations, manage accounts, prepare reports, and support month-end/year-end closings and tax filings. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assist with bank reconciliation and accounts payable/receivable control. 2. Prepare accounting reports and support tax filings. 3. Maintain accounting files and tax documentation. We want your talent **ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT** **Functions and Responsibilities** * Record accounting journal entries for income, expenses, and general ledger. * Review and classify invoices, receipts, and tax documents. * Assist with bank reconciliation. * Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable. * Prepare basic accounting reports. * Support preparation of tax filings (based on experience). * Keep accounting files and tax documentation up to date. * Assist with monthly and annual accounting closings. * Verify compliance with internal policies and tax regulations. * Provide administrative support to the accounting department. **Requirements**: * Technical degree or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (in progress or completed). * Preferably **2 years** of experience in similar roles (warehouse, logistics, distribution). * Intermediate Excel skills. * SAT4.0 invoicing. * Strong knowledge of tax matters. * Experience with accounting systems (COI, CONTPAQi, SAP, or others – preferred). **Work Schedule**: * Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 6:00 pm * Saturdays, 8:30 am to 2:00 pm Work location: Texcoco Centro.
