




The Kitchen Assistant supports the chef and culinary team in food preparation, dish assembly, and maintaining order and hygiene in the kitchen. This role contributes to delivering a high-quality gastronomic experience, adhering to boutique hotel standards and ensuring efficient operations. **Key Responsibilities** * Prepare ingredients: washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning food items. * Assist in dish preparation according to the chef’s instructions. * Keep the workstation and common kitchen areas clean and organized. * Assist with dish assembly and basic plating. * Receive, inspect, and store supplies following proper preservation standards. * Comply with hygiene, food safety, and food handling protocols. * Wash and disinfect utensils, equipment, and surfaces as needed. * Collaborate in preparations for special events or high-demand services. * Report any anomalies related to equipment, supplies, or processes. **Job Requirements** **Education:** * Completed basic education. * Culinary or cooking training is desirable. **Experience:** * 6 months to 1 year of kitchen experience (restaurant, hotel, catering, or similar). * Candidates with limited experience but strong attitude and willingness to learn are welcome. **Knowledge:** * Basic cooking techniques and knife handling skills. * Good hygiene and food safety practices. * Basic understanding of food storage and rotation (FIFO). **Competencies and Skills** * Orderliness, cleanliness, and responsibility. * Strong communication and teamwork skills. * Ability to follow instructions and adapt to the fast-paced kitchen environment. * Service-oriented attitude and eagerness to learn.
