Analyze market prices and implement cost-reduction strategies **Join our team!** A food industry company is looking for a **Procurement Officer** responsible for ensuring efficient supply of raw materials and inputs, guaranteeing quality and cost optimization throughout the entire supply chain. **Key Responsibilities:** **Procurement and Supply Management:** * Plan and execute procurement of raw materials and key inputs according to production and sales requirements. * Monitor inventory levels to enable timely purchasing and prevent stockouts. * Identify and develop new strategic suppliers to ensure better pricing, quality, and delivery times. * Negotiate commercial terms with suppliers. * Verify complete documentation for each purchase (purchase orders, invoices, authorizations). * Coordinate proper receipt of goods and follow up on incidents. * Prepare weekly costing reports based on purchase prices. **Cost Control and Optimization:** * Analyze market prices for raw materials and key products. * Propose and implement cost-reduction strategies without compromising quality. * Identify risks and trends across the supply chain. * **Logistics and Warehouse:** * Coordinate with logistics and warehouse departments to ensure proper receipt and storage of inputs.
