Ensure quality and hygiene standards for every service About the Position An international cuisine restaurant located in the Historic Center of Mérida seeks a Kitchen Chef with strong leadership, culinary expertise, and operational capability to lead the brigade and elevate the dining experience of our guests. Responsibilities * Lead and coordinate the entire kitchen brigade * Design and update the menu with a focus on international cuisine * Control food costs and inventory of supplies * Manage procurement and supplier relationships * Train and develop the kitchen team * Ensure quality, hygiene, and presentation standards for every service Requirements * 3–5 years of experience as Chef or Sous Chef in international cuisine * Experience leading kitchen brigades * Knowledge of cost control, recipe costing (standardized recipes), and inventory management * Ability to negotiate and manage suppliers * Culinary education (desirable but not mandatory) * Availability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays What We Offer * Monthly salary: $20,000 – $25,000 MXN **net** * Statutory benefits (IMSS, vacation, year-end bonus) * Complimentary staff meals during shifts * Uniforms provided by the company * On-site position in the Historic Center of Mérida, Yucatán * Active participation in menu development and gastronomic concept creation Salary: $20,000.00 – $25,000.00 per month Benefits: * Complimentary beverages * Employee discount * Option for an indefinite-term contract * Medical expense insurance * Dining room service * Complimentary uniforms Workplace: On-site employment
