Ready to be part of the change? ***Sr. Pipeline Engineer*** **Job Mission:** The Sr Pipeline Engineer will be responsible for verifying design, development, and engineering review at conceptual, basic, and detailed levels for projects (primarily pipeline) within the natural gas industry, mainly during development and execution phases. This includes performing a wide range of engineering tasks by applying knowledge, techniques, and engineering analysis within process, mechanical, electrical, civil, and instrumentation specialties, as well as tasks related to multidisciplinary design, particularly in an efficient and accurate manner. **Your Impact:** As a **Sr. Pipeline Engineer,** you will have the opportunity to directly contribute to our mission by playing a key role in: * **Verifying the design of natural gas transportation systems, primarily transmission/transport pipelines and surface facilities (EM, EMRyC, etc.) within the Process, Mechanical, and Civil disciplines, as well as providing solid contributions to the design process of other disciplines (electrical, I&C, etc.).** * **Reviewing technical documentation for the selection of major equipment (static and dynamic).** * **Conducting multidisciplinary conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering reviews for natural gas industry projects (natural gas transportation systems). This includes performing a wide variety of engineering tasks by applying knowledge, techniques, and engineering analysis within mechanical, process, and civil specialties.** * **Reviewing techno-economic documentation for EPC contractor selection.** * **Providing technical support (drawings, 3D modeling, and simulation) to designers, specialist engineers, and coordinators working on the same project.** * **Generating reports and other documents related to design/engineering progress, procurement, and construction of major equipment (technical support).** * **Supporting the development and implementation of procedures/standards for multidisciplinary engineering development, verification, construction progress monitoring, and quality control to improve project execution efficiency and effectiveness.** * **Monitoring and verifying that the construction phase (pipelines, metering stations, etc.) is carried out in accordance with approved construction engineering and in compliance with applicable national and international codes and standards.** * **Evaluating hydraulic calculations of the transportation system under different operational scenarios** Preferred degree in Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial Engineering or related field. Proven solid technical knowledge in natural gas transportation systems (pipelines, Compressor Stations, etc.), and specifically, strong multidisciplinary technical knowledge in mechanics of materials, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, instrumentation and control, among other specialties. Knowledge of standards/codes for natural gas projects (NOM, NFR, ASME, ANSI, API, ISO, ISA, NFPA, NACE, AGA, etc.), as well as proven experience working with federal, state, and local environmental regulations. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, MS Office, and design and calculation software such as Synergi Gas, SPS, Hysys, Inventor, Ansys, Pipesim, Pipephase, HTRI, Flare System Analyzer, etc., as well as database management.
