The platform supports mission\-critical availability, rate, and inventory flows and is designed for scale, performance, and resiliency. * Project overview: The project focuses on high\-throughput, low\-latency distribution, handling complex hospitality concepts such as ARI (Availability, Rates, Inventory), restrictions, inventory blocks, and state reconciliation across event\-driven and polling\-based models. * The platform is built using Microsoft technologies (.NET and Azure), with strong emphasis on Azure infrastructure, DevOps, and relational data consistency. Position overview: We are seeking a QA Engineer with travel domain experience to join a technology company that provides unified booking engine and marketing solutions to help resorts, hotels, and travel destinations sell rooms and experiences in one seamless platform. This role involves validating and ensuring the quality of complex backend integrations between our client’s platform and Hotel PMS / CRS / hospitality systems; implies designing and executing test plans, managing defects, and collaborating with cross\-functional teams in an agile environment. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail\-oriented, and capable of working independently while ensuring high\-quality software delivery. * Responsibilities: Validate integrations between the platform and Hotel PMS / CRS systems, following best practices in STLC * Ensure accuracy of ARI (Availability, Rates, Inventory), rate plans, restrictions, and booking flows. * Execute end\-to\-end testing across distributed and event\-driven architectures. * Verify API integrations (REST/JSON) and data consistency across systems. * Perform reconciliation testing to detect and resolve data mismatches. * Validate database integrity and system state transitions (SQL\-based environments). * Identify, document, and track defects with clear impact analysis. * Support release cycles, regression testing, and production validations. * Collaborate closely with backend engineers and product teams to ensure high\-quality delivery. * 5\+ years of experience as a QA Engineer testing backend systems and system\-to\-system integrations. * Experience testing integrations with at least one hospitality platform (Hotel PMS or CRS). * Experience validating hospitality APIs and reconciling state across event\-driven and polling systems. * Expertise in Azure DevOps, especially Test Plans, Work Items, Boards, Queries, and Dashboards. * Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across functional teams. * Experience in Travel domain is a strong plus. * Strong understanding of: * ARI (Availability, Rates, Inventory). * Rate plans and restrictions. * Inventory allocationExperience with high\-throughput production systems and good English communication skills.
