Their primary objective is to ensure continuity of data services, management of web browsing policies, and secure connectivity via VPNs, guaranteeing that devices are not end-of-life and operate with the most recent updates. **Specific Responsibilities (Fortinet)** * **Policy Administration:** Creation, modification, and debugging of firewall policies according to the Museum’s operational needs and browsing requirements. * **Virtual Network Management:** Configuration and segmentation of **VLANs** and **VPN** tunnels for secure remote access. * **Logical Preventive Maintenance:** * Execution of monthly firmware and security patch updates. * Debugging of bugs on the Fortinet platform. * Periodic backup of configurations (Backups). * **Interaction with ISPs (Internet Service Providers):** Technical support and advisory services for service validations with the Carrier (internet provider), adjusting firewall configurations as required. * **Monitoring and Diagnostics:** Detection and resolution of data network failures with critical response times (remote diagnosis <1 hr). **Technical Requirements and Certifications** * **Mandatory Certification:** Must hold at least one valid certification related to the technology: **Fortinet Certified Professional (FCP)** in Network Security (formerly **NSE 4**). * **Essential Knowledge:** * Expert-level proficiency in **FortiOS**. * Proven experience with **FortiGate** devices. * Traffic and log analysis for bug debugging. * Knowledge of LAN/WAN networks, Routing, and Switching. **4.
