Coordination with Production and Cost Optimization Position Title: Industrial Designer About the Position We are looking for an **Industrial Designer with over 5 years of technical experience** in the metal-mechanical sector. The primary objective is to transform concepts into functional and manufacturable designs, optimizing material selection and production processes in machining workshops. Key Responsibilities: * **Design and Modeling:** Creation of complex parts, components, and tooling using **SolidWorks**. * **Critical Material Selection:** Determining appropriate use of steels, aluminum alloys, and engineering plastics based on part requirements. * **Technical Drawing:** Preparation of detailed drawings applying geometric and dimensional tolerances. * **Production Coordination:** Ensuring designs are compatible with milling, turning, and CNC machining center processes. * **Cost Optimization:** Reducing material waste and cycle times from the design stage. Minimum Requirements: * **Experience:** 5 verifiable years in **machining**. Candidates without prior workshop/production floor experience will not be considered. * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field. * **Software:** Advanced proficiency in **SolidWorks** (mandatory). * **Technical Knowledge:** * Strong understanding of machinability of metals and polymers. * Knowledge of heat treatments and surface finishes. * Proficiency in using measuring instruments (Vernier calipers, micrometers).
